The competition is strong, but we are still far from a table of contents.
I have received stories based on almost every kind of Appalachian critter, but wampus cats are by far the most common type submitted. I would love to see more lake monsters, ghost stags, big foot, sheepsquatch, and Native American beasts of legend. Many of the stories also set in the woods - so if you're looking for a way to stand out, try setting your story someplace besides the forest.
If you're looking for more information on the anthology, or what types of critters are out there - check out the Strange Critters facebook page HERE!
Best of luck with your submission.
If you haven't rejected someone yet, does that mean they're shortlisted?
ReplyDeleteAllergy sufferers have to rely on each other in this area of research and discovery. There are many traditional pharmaceutical products out there on the market that work well. The problem for us is that pharmaceutical companies have share holders who have profits in mind. They don't want us to theirs and only their products.
